| there once was a beautiful young girl who dreamed of flying. she longed to reach up and embrace the stars. however, it seemed the closest she could come was to simply dance. and so she danced.. and danced.. and DANCED! from deep inside it flowed out, taking her spirit to grand places and far away lands few have ever seen. she truly believed that some day she would indeed fly.

some with smaller dreams said "you are just a girl. you will never fly." but she continued to dance, gracefully, beautifully.. a celebration of freedom to her King. then one day.. it happened. Lost in the moment, she leaped high in the air, forgetting where she was and those around her.. and suddenly she was.. well.. FLYING!

i always knew you would fly one day, bek. keep dancing.. keep believing.. keep being you.
oh how i do love you bekah boo.. |

| There's a yellow rose of Texas The most beautiful I've seen No other fellas have her No other men but me. I cried so when she left me It nearly broke my heart And if she ever comes back home We never more will part
She's the sweetest rose of heaven This poor man ever knew Her eyes are bright as diamonds Her smile is matched by few You can talk about your beauties And sing of flowers sweet But my Yellow Rose of Texas Is the sweetest rose indeed

| what i want to be is the beautiful finished product.. what i am is the painful work in progress.
this process is excruciating. just when i think i'm closer to the finish, i am reminded that we're never actually "finished"until we reach Heaven.. guess that's why it's a process.
i'm thankful for the hope of the promise and loved ones who actually love. |
